It was beautiful outside, and we couldn't have asked for a better day. I forgot to bring my camera, so I have no pictures to post. :(
We rented out a pavilion at Rowlett Community Park. We grilled hotdogs and hamburgers, or rather Ram grilled his "famous" hamburgers and threw some hotdogs on the grill as well. Brandon made fabulous cupcakes for dessert. The kids (all 13 or so of them) played on the playground next to the pavilion. Those that could, anyway, as there were a couple babies in the mix - my Levi should be right smack in the middle of them.
We walked down to the pond, fed the one lonesome duck some stale bread, and fished using leftover hotdogs as bait. We didn't really fish. Josh and I aren't into this fishing sport. However, Aidan does have a fishing pool due to the fact that everytime we get together with this group, Aidan is the only child without one, and everyone else is a girl, so Josh has gotten tired of Aidan borrowing princess poles to go fishing with. Therefore, this week, I purchased Aidan a Cars fishing pole, but no hook. Who in their right mind would give their 2 year old child a hook on their fishing pole? Not me. He just has a rubber weight thing used for casting practice. He doesn't know the difference.
We were there until about 2pm. Aidan fell asleep in the car on the way home. I put him to bed, and Josh and my dad started installing my new sink. :)
