Birthday Celebrations

This post is a bit late, but I haven't felt much like blogging lately. Just in a funk, I suppose. We celebrated Aidan's birthday on January 16th by taking him and 17 of his friends and their parents to Bounce Town - an indoor inflatable party place. Aidan had overheard us talking about it around Christmas time, and would ask to go to the bounce house from time to time. We would just tell him to wait until his birthday. So, when his birthday finally rolled around, you can only imagine how excited he was.
Here he is with his friend, McKenna, looking inside the room and waiting to go play.

Us.
I made his birthday shirt. If you couldn't tell from his cake, he wanted a circus party, so his shirt is a circus tent, of course.

I got to hold baby Max again. That's his big sister, Abbey in her daddy's arms in the picture with us.

Luke is in orange and Greyson is wearing gray. They had a blast.

Even the parents got in on the play time.

Cake time!

Aidan got to sit in this fun inflatable chair while opening all his presents.

On Aidan's actual birthday, my parents, sister, brother in law, and nephews came over for a dinner celebration. We opened presents first since Aidan has waited patiently all day for Grammy and Papa to come, and just couldn't wait any longer.

Can you see the excitement on his face?

My mom has this game at her house, and every single day, Aidan would ask to go to Grammy and Papa's house to play the fishie game. I decided to get it for him for his birthday. He was SO excited!

I made lasagna for dinner, and earlier in the day, I had sent cupcakes with Aidan to school, so we ate the leftover cupcakes for dessert. Aidan insisted on having candles on his cupcake, so we happily obliged.
